We Are Over Halfway to Our Goal
I wanted to provide a fundraising status update. The numbers below represent both a milestone and a baseline. That’s a 26% increase over our last fundraising status update on 10/30/2020.
We’ve come a long way, but have almost as much road ahead of us.

I would be remiss if I didn’t extend a shout-out to those that have already supported the creation of this fund (you know who you are). Thanks to your efforts, we are more than halfway through this fundraising campaign.
But don’t go to sleep on us just yet, because we have at least a couple of important events coming your way in 2022.
Upcoming Events
- 40 for Forty is coming again (April 6-7, 2022), which means another chance to earn some extra dollars through gamification. I’ll write a separate post about the spring 2022 event.
- The McCombs Development office has finally agreed to support an awareness campaign. I had to twist their arm to help, and they have already put restrictions and provisos on what they will do … but it is SOMETHING. And something is better than nothing.
- I think we may have a donor willing to put up matching funds against this awareness campaign!
