Welcome to the Scott Hemsell Memorial Scholarship website.
We have established a scholarship in Scott’s name for promising Management Information Systems (MIS) students at the UT McCombs School of Business. The Scott Hemsell Memorial Scholarship recipients must have exhibited both interest and aptitude in MIS, as demonstrated through classroom and extracurricular activities.
The endowment will initially award an annual scholarship of approximately $2,000. Gifts will be made directly to the University, with 100% going to the scholarship fund, which The University of Texas will manage.
Personal and corporate donations of any amount will honor Scott’s life and help to grow the scholarship. The endowment fund will grow perpetually, and Scott’s scholarship will continue assisting students annually.
